Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay petitioner enhanced compensation amount as awarded by the Honourable High Court Madras Divisional Bench i.e., Rs.25,952/- per cent. 1. Special Thasildhar Land Acquisition, K.M.M.C Building Koyambedu are hereby requested to pay the petitioner the difference amount of Rs.25,952/- (Less) Rs.20,237/- = Rs.5,715/- per cent with interest on solatium is to be given for the petitioner's acquired land in Kundrathur village. The petitioner is also entitled to receive the difference amount of Rs.5,715/- per cent for the petitioner's acquired land in the light of decree and judgment dated 14.07.2022 passed by Honourable High Court Madras Divisional Bench in A.S.No.386 of 2018 batch cases with all other benefits as per Land Acquisition Act.

ORDER
W.M.P.No.15698 of 2026 filed seeking for permission to the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition is ordered on payment of separate court fee.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to pay the enhanced compensation to the petitioners on par with others, who are having the benefit of the order dated 18.02.2025 passed in W.P.No.4701 of 2025 on the file of this Court. 2/4
3. The petitioners had given a representation for the aforesaid purpose to the respondents on 28.01.2026. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.
4. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.B.Sanjay Balachandar, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.
5. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the petitioners' representation, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation dated 28.01.2026 seeking for enhancement of compensation on par with others, who are having the benefit of the order dated 18.02.2025 passed in W.P.No.4701 of 2025 after giving due 3/4
ABDUL QUDDHOSE, J gm consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioners and the orders passed by this Court in the writ petitions and the writ appeal within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
