Heard Mr.S.N.Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, accepting notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.P.Paramasivadoss, learned Standing Counsel, accepting notice on behalf of the second respondent Transport Corporation. 2.By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3.The petitioner seeks for a positive direction to the second respondent to grant permanent status to him, in the light of the order dated 04.01.2016, passed by the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Since the writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission stage, it cannot be verified as to whether any appeal has been preferred by the second respondent Transport Corporation, against the order passed by the first respondent. In any event, a representation has been made by the petitioner on 14.04.2016, to the second respondent, and this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent, to dispose of the representation, since it is stated that other similarly placed persons, who had obtained similar orders have been conferred permanent status and the petitioner has been denied the benefit, since he was transferred from Villupuram to Vellore Region. 5.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.04.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after notice to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
