Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 1/4

and 3 to pay the arrears of salary together with DA arrears for the period 01.05.1997 to 01.09.2003.

O R D E R

The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the first respondent, made a submission that as per the instructions received, the respondents are ready to settle the salary dues, which amounts to a sum of Rs.22,810/-, within a period of two months from today.

2. In respect of other grievance, if any exists, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondents for his redressal. However, the respondents are directed to settle the salary arrears to the petitioner, within a period of two months from today as per the undertaking given by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first respondent. 2/4
