(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.06.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 395, 397 IPC and Section 25(1B)(a) of the Arms Act 1959 in Crime No. 699 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the petitioner has been detained under Act 14 of 1982.
3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh petition.
