(Crime No.1512 of 2020) Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure praying to enlarge the petitioners on bail in the event of their arrest in Crime No.1512 of 2020 pending on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 341, 294 (b), 307 of I.P.C., r/w Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.1512 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 15.06.2020 they way laid the defacto complainant and attacked him with knife. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that all the petitioners are having two previous cases each pending against the petitioners. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of Anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and there were previous cases pending against all the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. No costs.
