ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking direction against Respondents 1 and 2 to fill up the vacancies in the post of Junior Engineer/Junior Draughting Officer only after issuing the provisional/Draft State-Wide Seniority List of persons who are eligible for promotion to the said posts, only after calling for objections from the eligible persons to the Provisional Seniority List, only after publishing the final Seniority List and strictly in accordance with the merit and ability and also as per seniority and strictly in accordance with the Rules and Procedures, award costs.

2.Heard, Mr.R.Krishnasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.Cheziyen, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Mr.T.Cheziyen, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents submitted that the state-wide seniority list will be filed shortly and that will be 2/4

released.

4. In such case, the petitioners are at liberty to make their objections, if any, to the seniority list. Since the petitioners entitlement to promotion flows from his or her seniority and the state-wide seniority is yet to be released, the writ petition is a premature one. After the state-wide seniority list is released and the petitioners have any grievances, they can make their objections to the authority concerned for appropriate orders.
