This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order, dated 10.01.2024.

2. It can be seen that the order is passed by the President, E.2649, Melarungunam Thodakka Velanmai Kootturavu Kadan Sangam Limited. The third respondent Cooperative Society is not a local or other authority, as such, is not a State within the meaning of Article 12 of the Constitution of India.

3. Accordingly, giving liberty to the petitioner to take such steps including filing of a Revision under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983, this Writ Petition is dismissed as not maintainable. There shall be no order as to costs. 12.04.2024 Index : yes 2/4
