Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to restore the Industrial Electricity Service Connection No.3161, to the petitioner in respect of Door No.76, Main Road, Vikravandi Town and Taluk, Villupuram District, forthwith. O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to restore the Industrial Electricity Service Connection No.3161, to the petitioner in respect of Door No.76, Main Road, Vikravandi Town and Taluk, Villupuram District, forthwith.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to non payment of the arrears of the electricity consumption charges, the Official respondents disconnected the petitioner's electricity service connection and would further submit that now the petitioner is ready to pay the entire arrears amount and on payment of the entire arrears amount of the electricity consumption charges, the petitioner's electricity service connection may be restored. 3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that on payment of the entire arrears amount of the electricity consumption charges, the petitioner's electricity service connection will be restored as per the Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code.

4.In view of the above, this Court permits the petitioner to pay the entire arrears amount of the electricity consumption charges and on payment of the entire arrears amount, the petitioner's electricity service connection shall be restored as per the Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code.

5.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Liberty is granted to the newly impleaded respondents namely,

respondents 4 to 11 to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
