Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and to take appropriate action for unauthorized construction against the 5th respondent based on the petitioner's representation dted 19.02.2024 within a stipulated period. ORDER

(The order of the Court was made by J.Nisha Banu,J.) This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and to take appropriate action for unauthorized construction against the 5th respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2024 within a stipulated period.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent Municipality would state that enquiry has been conducted and it was found that there is unauthorized construction made by the 5th respondent and therefore, enforcement action has been initiated and notice dated 23.04.2025 was also issued to

the 5th respondent.

3. In view of the above stated position, the 2nd respondent is directed to take further enforcement action in accordance with law and take it to its logical end within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
