Respondents Prayer: This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give the petitioner forthwith appointment to the post of conductor under Schedule Caste-intercaste marriage priority, and to award cost. For Petitioner : Mr.V.Ajay Khose For Respondents : Mr.R.K.Gandhi for Kannan Kumar (Standing Counsel)

ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide an appointment to the petitioner to the post of conductor under Schedule Caste-inter-caste marriage priority, and to award cost.

2.When the matter is listed today the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition as not pressed. He has also made an endorsement to the following effect:

"On instructions from the petitioner, it is respectfully submitted that the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is now doing some business and hence, he does not want to pursue this writ petition. Hence, it may be closed as not pressed."

3.In view of the above statement and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as not pressed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
