ORDER

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This petition has been filed for a direction, forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with possession and enjoyment of petitioners property in S.Nos.1/1B, 1/9, 1/1A, 1/1A1B, 1/9A1 of Kunrathur B village, Kunrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the subject property, however, the respondents without following the due process of law is trying to demolish the building for road expansion. Hence, seeks for a direction,

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that if the petitioner is the owner of the properties, due process in the manner known to law will be undertaken before doing such exercise in the petitioner's land.

5. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, there shall be a direction to the respondents to follow the due process of law before initiating any steps for road expansion. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
