Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2016 for transfer the petitioner from the 3rd respondent place to the 4th respondent place within the stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. The petitioner was appointed as Staff Nurse on contract basis by the Deputy Director of Health Services, Tuticorin District, in Primary Health Centre, at Padukkapthu, and thereafter, was transferred to the Government Hospital, Manjur, Nilgiris District. The petitioner made a request to the 1st respondent to transfer her from the Government Hospital, Manjur,
to the Government Hospital, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District. The petitioner would further aver that out of the wedlock, she begot a son and a daughter, who are aged about 4 and 2 years respectively and both of them are under the custody of her father-in-law and mother-in-law of the petitioner respectively and her husband is also working as an Assistant in Prakasapuram Cooperative Bank, Prakasapuram, Tuticorin District and in this regard, she has also submitted representations dated 05.01.2016 to the 1st respondent through proper channel as well as to the Honourable Chief Minister Cell, Chennai, seeking transfer to the nearby place in which her family is residing and since no orders have been passed so far, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
