Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 28.06.2011 and 10.04.2013 *and pass reasoned orders and Consequently refer the matter to the Arbitrator as per the provisions of the National Highways Act, expeditiously. The petitioner made two representations on 28.06.2011 and 10.04.2013 seeking reference to the arbitrator, having been not satisfied with the compensation amount fixed. As the said representations are still pending consideration, the present writ petition is filed.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondents may be directed to dispose of the said representations.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case including the question of limitation, a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representations said to have been made by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to furnish copies of the aforesaid representations along with the order passed in this Writ petition within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
