O R D E R

The petitioner has been convicted in CC.No.12 of 2017 on 31.05.2018 by the Judicial Magistrate, FTC, Alandur for an offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The petitioner filed Crl.A.No.24 of 2018, challenging the conviction and sentence. The petitioner has also filed CMP.No.2441 of 2018 for suspension of sentence and bail. The learned Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu has passed the conditional order in CMP.No.2441 of 2018 on 25.06.2018 directing the petitioner to deposit Rs.7,00,000/- before the trial Court. Challenging the said conviction, the petitioner is before this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3.It is seen that the total cheque amount involved in this case is Rs.25,00,000/-. Therefore, this Court does not find any infirmity in the order passed by the trial Court warranting interference. Hence, this petition is dismissed. But, however, four weeks time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply the order dated 25.06.2018 in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

CMP.No.2441 of 2018 passed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu. Rest of the conditions shall remain the same.
