This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and their staff in relation to the running of Herbal Hookah Services (without any content or trace of Tobacco and Nicotine) in the restaurant premises namely 'BRASS HAT (CHETPET)' No.25, 6th Floor, Mc Nicholas Road, Chennai - 600031. When the matter came up on 26.03.2026, this Court had directed the petitioner to produce proof in support of the petition filed. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 26.03.2026, the petitioner is unable to produce any CCTV recordings in support of his contention. 2\4

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that there is no such restaurant business under the name and style of 'BRASS HAT (CHETPET)'.

In view of the above, it is seen that this petition has been filed merely on apprehension without any materials. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
