ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by U.C.Palanisamy, seeking a limited prayer for issuance of a mandamus, directing the respondent/Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning, Salem, to dispose of his application submitted for building plan approval on 11.5.2015 by taking note of the Pollution Control Board lab analysis report dated 12.05.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kumar, the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

It appears that the petitioner has submitted an application on 11.5.2015, seeking building plan approval to construct a building for running Coconut Pith Products in his village covered in Survey No.912, Azhagugoundenvalasu, Arachalur Via, Erode Taluk and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
District . The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has also filed its analysis report, on 12.05.2015. However, the respondent has not passed any orders on the petitioner's application so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.5.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
