ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the fist respondent vide Na.Ka.326/2022/A1, dated 12.04.2022, thereby transferring the petitioner from shop No.3536, Chennimalai Road, near ITI, Kasipalayam, Erode - 9 to Erode Liquor Depot. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as per the order of transfer, the petitioner joined in the transferred place.

It is seen that the transfer order has been passed in pursuant to the disciplinary proceeding initiated as against the petitioner on the charge that he has sold out the liquor bottles in higher rate than the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) rate. Therefore, the petitioner was rightly transferred from the retail shop to liquor depot. This Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the impugned order and the writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
