Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to sanction the Swathantratha Sainik Samman INA Pension to the petitioner with effect from 09.02.1989 ( the date on which the State Government forwarded the representation to the respondents), with interest at the rate of 12% per annum, within a time frame.

respondents 1 and 2 has produced a letter dated 11.11.2016 stating that the Central Government has rejected the Freedom Fighter Pension.

In view of the same, this writ petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
