Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to call for the records and quash the proceedings in SC No.101 of 2016 on the file of the Mahila Court, Chennai by calling records pending disposal of the above criminal original petition.

ORDER
This petition has been filed to to call for the records and quash the proceedings in SC No.101 of 2016 on the file of the Mahila Court, Chennai by calling records pending disposal of the above criminal original petition in Crl.O.P.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the allegations made against the petitioner are totally false as such he has filed this petition to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.101 of 2016 on the file of the learned Mahila Court, Chennai.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the deceased is the daughter, and the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He further submits that the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
had illegal relationship with another lady as such there were quarrels between the deceased and the petitioner often as such on the fateful day also, there was a quarrel on the same issue, pursuant to which the deceased committed suicide by hanging herself. Hence, he sought for dismissal of this petition.
4. Considering that there is a specific allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. When this Court is about to dismiss the petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
5. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
