ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to receive and register the Settlement deed dated 11.02.2026m more fully disclosed in the prayer to the writ petition. 2.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent is refusing to receive and register the settlement deed presented for registration. 3.
M/s.Bakkiyalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondent. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner can be directed to present the settlement deed for registration before the respondent and that a decision will be taken by the respondent as to whether the settlement deed presented by the petitioner can be registered or not, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has satisfied with the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the settlement deed to be presented by the petitioner. 5.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to present the Settlement Deed dated 11.02.2026 executed by one Sudhakar in favour of the petitioner, in respect of the subject property before the respondent, for registration, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On presentation of the said settlement deed, the respondent shall take a decision as to whether the settlement deed presented by the petitioner can be registered or not, within a period of two weeks thereafter. No costs.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
