Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 3rd respondent in his proceedings in D.No.1891/2015 dated 26.03.2015 in so far as relating to the period of the tender mentioned therein i.e. from 01.07.2014 to 30.06.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to run the coffee bar and canteen in the Cuddalore Court premises for a period of one year from the date of passing of order by the 3rd respondent in D.No.1891/2015 dated 26.03.2015.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed challenging the order of the third respondent dated 26.03.2015, in so far as it relates to the period of the tender mentioned therein i.e. from 01.07.2014 to 30.06.2015 and consequentially direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to run the coffee bar and canteen in the Cuddalore Court premises for a period of one year from the date of passing of order by the 3rd respondent in D.No.1891/2015 dated 26.03.2015.

2. This matter is posted today for orders. There is no representation for the petitioner. Even on earlier two occasions, there was no representation for the petitioner.

3. Today, the learned Additional Advocate General brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner's licence has been cancelled after the expiry of the tender period. He would further submit that the petitioner himself has sought for return back of the deposit amount and the fifth respondent has remitted the deposit amount to the petitioner. He would further submit that a fresh tender has been called for and the tender was granted in favour of the successful bidder one Mr.K.Sakthivel for the period from 01.07.2016 to 30.06.2017.

4. In view of the same, nothing survives and the writ petition is closed.
