ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Hari Babu, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondent and with their consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the goods detention notice dated 10.10.2016 issued under Form No.41.

3.Though several contentions have been raised on the merits of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner, after some arguments, submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to remit the one time tax as demanded and subject to such payment, the goods may be released.

4.In the light of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the petitioner to remit the one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

time tax with the respondent and leaving it open for the petitioner to file a revision as against the action initiated by the respondent. The goods in question shall be released forthwith on remittance of the one time tax, as demanded by the respondent. No costs.
