Heard Mr.Ayyadurai, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners;

Mr.N.Umapathi, learned counsel for the first respondent; and Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 2 and 3.

This miscellaneous petition has been filed to grant leave to file an appeal against the order dated 8.2.2024 passed in W.P.No.804 of 2021.

It is the case of the petitioners that they are third parties to the writ petition and in view of the order passed by the learned Single Judge, their rights are adversely affected.

Satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and leave to file appeal is granted.

The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise found to be in order, and list the same on 1.8.2024.
