CR.NO.166 OF 2009 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.749/2017 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence passed in S.C.No.130 of 2010 by the Sessions and Mahaleer Fast Track Court, Thiruvannamalai convicting the petitioner and release the petitioner on bail until disposal of the above appeal.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A. No.749/2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.SELVAKUMARASWAMI, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R. RAVICHANDRAN, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays the leave of this Court to withdraw this petition and also made a request to expedite the final disposal of the appeal as the appellant/petitioner is having a bright chance of success in

the appeal. He has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect.

2.In the light of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

3.The Registry is directed to prepare the typed set of documents and accord priority in listing the appeal for final disposal.
