ORDER

This petition has been filed to strike off the proceedings in E.P No. 163 of 2013 in A.C.P No. 215 of 2012 pending on the file of the Principal Sub-ordinate Judge, Mayiladuthurai.

2. This court has referred this matter for mediation on 20.10.2023. Accordingly, mediation was conducted and the matter was settled on 22.11.2023 and the petitioner agreed to pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to the respondent. Now, the petitioner issued two demand drafts for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to the first respondent before this Court. Hence, the Principal Sub-ordinate Judge, Mayiladuthurai, is directed to close the proceedings in E.P No. 163 of 2013 in A.C.P No. 215 of 2012, after verifying whether the said amount credited to the decree holder.

3. In the result, this civil Revision petition is disposed of. No cost. 07.12.2023 pbl Note: Issue order copy on 13.12.2023.
