The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 16.8.2017.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner is working as a Conductor in the Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporation, Salem Limited. On account of several allegations, an enquiry was conducted and the petitioner was inflicted with an order of punishment of reduction of basic pay vide proceedings Ku.No.214/8911/D6/TNSTC/2001 from 5 steps to 4 steps. In this regard, the writ petitioner made a representation on 16.08.2017 for cancellation of the order of punishment. 3.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 16.08.2017 and pass orders on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
