ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2025.
2. Mr. D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. At the outset, he would submit that the petitioner has not submitted an online application with the third respondent for the grant of patta. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with by this Court.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh online application with the third respondent for the grant of patta.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner is allowed to submit a fresh online application, seeking for grant of patta in his
favour and if a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law after hearing all the necessary parties, including the fourth respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh online application with the third respondent, seeking for grant of patta in his name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application from the petitioner, within the stipulated time, the third respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's online application within a period of twelve weeks thereafter after hearing the objections of the fourth respondent as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. 16-04-2026
