[Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.,] Captioned writ petition has been filed with a mandamus prayer for extension of leave for a convict prisoner by three months from 09.04.2023.

2. Dr.S.Manoharan, learned counsel for petitioner is before us.

3. Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned State Additional Public Prosecutor in the hearing submits that request of the convict prisoner has been considered and order has been passed vide 'order dated 10.04.2023 bearing reference No.7167/jF3/2023 made by the third respondent' [hereinafter 'said order' for the sake of convenience]. As captioned writ petition is one for mandamus, we deem it appropriate to drop the curtains on the captioned writ petition but making it clear that all the rights and contentions of the petitioner or any one concerned for the convict prisoner are preserved to challenge the said order if so advised and if so desired. Page Nos.2/4
