ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Certiorari seeking to

call for the records relating to an order dated 04.02.2025 by which order, the petitioner who was working as Office Superintendent in College of Nursing, Government Medical College at Theni was transferred as Office Superintendent at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai. By the same order, the Office Superintendent of Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai was transferred as Office Superintendent at Theni College of Nursing, Government Hospital, Theni.

2. It is seen that it is a vice versa transfer. The petitioner was transferred from Theni to Chennai and the person who was working in Chennai was transferred to Theni.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner has a child who is studying ninth standard and that, his wife is a house wife at Theni. It is also contended that he has neurology ailments.

4. But however, transfer is incidental to any public servant. The transfer from Theni to Chennai would be of financial beneficial to the petitioner, as certainly at least the city compensatory allowance payable to the petitioner would be far more than what the petitioner had been drawing at Theni. The

House Rent Allowance also would be substantially more. The petitioner can therefore would contribute more for his financial development. With respect to the other aspects relating to his family affair as claimed by the petitioner, I am confident that the petitioner would have sufficient maturity to handle the same.

5. I am not inclined to interfere with the order impugned, which had been passed on administrative grounds and which the respondent had every right to pass. The Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
