Crl.MP.No.3194 of 2016 in Crl.OP.No.5448 of 2015 P.N.PRAKASH,J.

This Court passed the final order dated 23.06.2015 in Crl.O.P.No.5448 of 2015, directing the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crl.OP.No.998 of 2013 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the concerned court to find out, whether the police had filed the final report as directed by this Court.

2. According to petitioner, the police have not completed the investigation and therefore, he has filed the present petition in Crl.M.P.No.3194 of 2016.

3. Today, when the matter is called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.998 of 2013 was completed and final report was filed in C.C.No.2732 of 2016 before the 23rd Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, for offences under Section 406, 420 and 120(B) against five accused. Recording the same, this criminal Miscellaneous petition is closed.
