This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case based on the petitioner complaint dated 4.12.2014 and investigate the same and file a final report within stipulated period.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner entered into an agreement with the land owner for purchasing a land and that, the land owner has attempted to sell the same property to some one else. Hence, the dispute is essentially contractual in nature. Hence, no positive direction can be given to the police to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner. Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies in the manner known to law.
