Appeals filed under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent, against the order passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.3373 of 2018 and 3437 of 2018 respectively, dated 16.02.2018. W.P.Nos.3373 and 3437 of 2018: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Honourable Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioners dated 30.01.2018 and consider the Petitioner's name for temporary

promotion by including their names in the list of persons for promotion for the post line Inspector.

These appeals have been filed against the orders passed by the learned single Judge in W.P.Nos.3373 of 2018 and 3437 of 2018, respectively dated 16.02.2018, rejecting the prayer of the appellants herein for promotion to the post of Line Inspector from the post of Wireman.

2.When these appeals have been taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Electricity Board has submitted that the appellants have been promoted to the post of Line Inspector on 30.08.2018 and 22.06.2018 respectively, and hence the matter in the writ appeals have become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the above, the writ appeals are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
