O R D E R

With the grievance that despite the settlement patta stands in the name of the Sri Nanjundeswaraswamy temple, which is also armed with a Civil Court decree as rendered in A.S.No.25 of 2010 dated 12.3.2012 on the file of Sub Court, Hosur, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents 1 and 2. In the said representation, the petitioner has sought for revenue patta in the name of the temple for the land situate in Survey No.31, 86, 87/1, 87/2 and 92 in Arasakuppam village in Denkanikottai Taluk of Krishnagiri District. Despite the same, as no action is forthcoming, the present writ petition is filed by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts of the case, without going into the merits of the same, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 7.7.2014 made by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner who claims to be hereditary trustee representing the temple and any other interested private persons, if any.
