O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested on 02.07.2020 for offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 307 of IPC in Crime No.2207 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 01.07.2020 at about 1.30.p.m the petitioner abused the de facto complainant with filthy language and assaulted him with a liquor bottle.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner abused the de facto complainant and assaulted him with liquor bottle and thereby, caused serious injuries. He would submit that the victim is still in hospital and hence, he strongly opposed to grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
