W.P.No.21549 of 2018 has been filed assailing the proceedings of the second respondent dated 22.08.2014 and the consequential order dated 04.12.2017 passed by the fourth respondent.

2. By the said impugned orders, the pay scale of the petitioners, which had been fixed notionally with effect from 01.01.2006 and monetarily with effect from 01.04.2013, was revoked, and recovery of the alleged excess Page Nos.4/7

amount was sought to be made.

3. This Court, in both the writ petitions, granted interim orders staying the operation of the impugned orders; therefore, the excess amount was not recovered from the petitioners.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners placed on record G.O.Ms.No.306, Finance (CMPC) Department, dated 12.09.2018, whereby the selection grade scale of pay of Vocational Instructors who were awarded selection grade prior to 01.01.2006, and in the case of employees who had exercised their option to come over to the revised scales of pay on the date of their award of selection grade between 01.01.2006 and 31.05.2009, shall be refixed in the scale of pay of Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.5,400 notionally with effect from 01.01.2006 or from the date of award of selection grade in the post of Vocational Instructor, with monetary benefits from 01.04.2013.

5. In light of the above Government Order, the impugned orders passed by the respondents stand diluted, and nothing survives for further adjudication.

6. Accordingly, the captioned writ petitions stand disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
