This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register an FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 07.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, on the complaint lodged by one Annamalai, a case in Crime No.66 of 2016 has been registered for offences under Section 294[b], 323 and 506[i] IPC against this petitioner. As a counter blast, this petitioner has given the present complaint.

4. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued on the complaint dated 07.04.2016 as prayed for by the petitioner and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies in the manner known to law.
