No.A2/ 5531/ 2024 dated 18.10.2024 and consequently directing the appropriate respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner pertaining to land situated at Plot Nos.283, 284, 333, and 334 in survey No.317/1 part (patta No.1466 as per patta survey No.317/94) at Nehru Nagar, Kottivakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk (Formerly Saidapet TalukChengalpattu District) Chennai District within the Sub-registration district of Adyar.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the th respondent dated 18.102.204 and for a consequential direction to the

respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.A.Simiyon Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, Special Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 5. 3.

It is seen from records that as against the order passed by the 4 th respondent dated 18.10.2024, the petitioner has already filed an appeal before the 3 rd respondent and the 3 rd respondent has already called the concerned party for an enquiry and the same is pending. It is also evident from the written instructions received by the learned Additional Government Pleader from the 4 th respondent. In view of the same, it will suffice if a direction is issued to the 3 rd respondent to deal with the appeal and pass final orders within a time frame. 4.

In the light of the above discussion, there shall be a direction to the rd respondent to pass final orders afer affording opportunity to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
