The petitioner has filed this petition to quash the C.C.No.5 of 2022 on the file of the LG-1, Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai, having been taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468 r/w 471 and 120 (B) of IPC.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that out of 10 witnesses 9 witnesses were examined and the trial is yet to be completed. Hence, he raised objection to quash the proceedings.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.5 of 2022, pending on the file of the LG-1, Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to raise all the defence before the trial Court and to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.
