Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.K.Satish Kumar, learned standing counsel takes notice for the second respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 06.08.2018, wherein and whereby, he opposed for locating the TASMAC Shop No.1778 in the SIDCO Industrial Estate, LIC Colony to Kamaraj Nagar Main Road, Kuruchi Village, Coimbatore District.

4. The petitioner appears to have made some objections against the proposed location of the TASMAC shop at the above stated site.
5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the objections made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide. The only grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation dated 06.08.2018 made by him is not yet disposed of. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till an order is passed by the first respondent, the respondents shall maintain status quo as on today, in respect of locating the said shop at the said place. No costs.
