By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be owner of vacant house plot bearing Plot No.17, Gandhi Nagar Extension, Orathur Village comprised in Survey No.108/9, Sriperumpudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and submitted an application dated 11.09.2012 to the third respondent for issuance of patta for the said property and since, it was not disposed of, the petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P.No.17571/2013, wherein a direction was given to the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2012 within a period of two months, pursuant to which the third respondent has passed an order rejecting the request made by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner. The petitioner, challenging the same, filed an appeal before the second respondent on 01.04.2014 and since it has not been disposed of, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the petitioner's appeal dated 01.04.2014, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 01.04.2014, after putting on notice the petitioner and the persons concerned and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
