Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to conduct an enquiry and to take action against the third respondent pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2025.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and take appropriate action against the third respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is an Advocate and the third respondent is the District Public Prosecutor of Mayiladuthurai District. It is stated that the third respondent is facing charges nearly 17 cases. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint seeking action against the third respondent. However, if the petitioner has any grievance as against the third respondent, who is a Public Prosecutor, the petitioner can file a complaint before the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu as the allegations pertain to professional misconduct and ethics. That apart, the petitioner is facing certain allegations before the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.

4. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be considered. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
