ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the Freedom Fighters Pension application filed by the petitioner's husband Mr.A.Vaithialingam, in File No.29/4493/1973, dated 26.08.1974 pending on the file of the respondents 1 & 2. 2.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is seen from the records that the petitioner's husband had filed an application in the year 1973, seeking for Freedom Fighters pension and he died in the year 1981. After the death of her husband, the petitioner/wife has made representation in the year 1986, seeking for Freedom Fighters Pension. As her representation was not considered, the petitioner has sent reminders to the respondents. Since the petitioner's request was not considered by the respondents, now the petitioner has approached this Court.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the inordinate delay, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
