ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 04.02.2025.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.E.Sundaram, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.V.Manoharan, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second and third respondent, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's mother, Mrs. Vaalambal, died on 12.08.2007 at Chennai.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she died at home in Chennai and immediately, she was also buried at the Kasimedu burial ground in Chennai. Therefore, as per her last residence, the death was also reported to the 2/5

Commissioner of the Corporation of Chennai and an entry was already made under registration No. COC/2007/01/008/000089/0 and a death certificate was also issued. While so, since there are property disputes between the petitioner and the other relatives, a fraudulent entry was again made, stating that she died in Mayiladuthurai and once again another death certificate was issued by the third respondent. The petitioner has therefore made a representation to cancel the same.

4. In view thereof, the representation of the petitioner dated 04.02.2025 shall be taken up for inquiry by the third respondent. The third respondent shall issue notices to the petitioner, as well as the other relatives, including private respondents No. 4 to 6. After hearing both sides, a decision can be taken in accordance with law. The same shall be done within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petiton is disposed of Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 02.04.2025 3/5
