ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.1744 of 2020 pending on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petition in H.M.O.P.No.4891 of 2021 has been filed under Section 13(1)(ia)(ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, to dissolve the marriage solemnized between the first petitioner and the second respondent on 14.04.2011. The matter has been amicably settled between the parties. As on date, there is no grievance between the parties. To that effect, a Memorandum of Understanding has been filed before this Court, which have been signed by the first petitioner and the second respondent/defacto complainant. 3.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the order of the learned IV Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai. 2/4
4.Recording the statements made by the first petitioner and the defacto complainant in the Memorandum of Understanding filed by them dated 30.03.2023, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.1744 of 2020 pending on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, is quashed.
