Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondents to regularize the period from 01.04.1997 to 31.12.2000 in the post of Panchayat Assistant and pay the pension for the service rendered by the applicant for the period from 1960 to 14.11.1980 for 20 years as Village Munsif of Vandhalaikudalur Village, Lalgudi Taluk as per the Government Orders.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct respondents to regularize the period from 01.04.1997 to 31.12.2000 in the post of Panchayat Assistant and pay the pension for the service rendered by the applicant for the period from 1960 to 14.11.1980 for 20 years as Village Munsif of Vandhalaikudalur Village, Lalgudi Taluk as per the Government Orders.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 04.03.2002 and it is appropriate to pass orders by considering the limited prayer sought by the writ petitioner.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State fairly concede the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
4.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to issue direction to the respondents to pass orders and liberty is granted to the writ petitioner to submit another representation along with the copy of this order to enable the respondents to consider and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible.
