ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to survey and measure the property bearing S.No.G.9/1/1 Pudupalayam Village based on their notice dated 01.12.2016 and also consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2018 to survey and measure the property by the 1st respondent's department within a fixed time frame by this Court.

At the outset, Mr.M.Nirmal Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner may be directed to make a fresh application to survey and measure the aforesaid property before the competent Authority, and the same would be considered within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh application before the Competent Authority, to survey and measure the property bearing S.No.G.9/1/1, Pudupalayam Village, along with the challan showing that the requisite fee is paid, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such application, the Authority concerned, shall conduct a survey in respect of the aforesaid property after due notice to all the interested parties including the petitioner, within a period six (6) weeks thereafter.
