Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the order dated 13.12.2022 passed by the Labour Court, Kancheepuram in I.A.No.1 of 2022 in C.P. No.167 of 2018 and quash the same.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to call for the records pertaining to the order dated 13.12.2022 passed by the Labour Court, Kancheepuram in I.A.No.1 of 2022 in C.P. No.167 of 2018 and quash the same.

2. On the last occasion i.e on 24.06.2025, it was fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the only ground on which this writ petition has been filed is with respect to the quantum. Today, a statement of accounts has been produced wherein the gross outstanding is shown as 14,83,776/- and after deducting the provident fund of Rs.1,73,680/- a sum of Rs.13,10,096/- is shown as due. The other benefits like gratuity etc have not been factored in the statement of accounts.

3. As per the statement of accounts, the respondent-workman is entitled to a sum of Rs.13,10,096/- together with gratuity and other attendant benefits. The respondent-management is directed to deposit said amount within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a 2/4

copy of this order. It is stated that the amount due under the DCRG benefits has already been deposited. The respondent-workman is entitled to withdraw the same. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
