This writ petition has been filed, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's application made along with Challan no.20230913015690 dated 13.09.2023 and to survey, sub-divide, and issue separate patta in respect of the petitioner's land situated in Villupuram R.D. Villupuram no.2, Joint Sub Division, Poonthotam Village, Grama Natham S.No.18/10, 735 sq.ft, out of 4.99 cents, East-West 35 Ft, South-North 21Ft including 1 1⁄2 ft. common pathway on the southern side, vacant site.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made an application to the second respondent to survey, subdivide and to issue separate patta in order to make constructions in the property belonging to the petitioner and paid requisite fees by way of Challan on 13.09.2023 also. But till date, the respondents have not taken any steps to conduct the survey and mark the boundaries. Hence, he seeks a direction to the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the respondents will consider the application of the petitioner if it is otherwise in order, within a time limit stipulated by this Court. 2/4
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
