Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to consider the application for the issue of patta in favour of the petitioner and his sister for the property situated in Old Door No.35, New Door No.47/40, V.V.Koil Street, Choolai, Chennai - 600 112, comprised in Survey O.S.No.2173, R.S.No.2122, C.C.No.544 Part, Purasavakkam Taluk, Chennai District. Petitioner : Mr.K.V.Babu For Respondents : Mr.R.Vijayakumar Additional Government Pleader - - - - -

By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.\

2. The petitioner and his sister claims that they are in possession of land comprised in Old No.35, New No.47/40, V.V.Koil Street, Choolai, Chennai - 600 112 comprised in survey O.S.No.2173, R.S.No.2122, C.C.No.544 Part, Purasavakkam Taluk, Chennai District, measuring 1090 sq.ft. and they submitted an application dated 24.11.2014, for issuance of patta to the second respondent, though it was acknowledged, no orders has been passed and hence came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.K.V.Babu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. This Court without going into the merits of the representation of the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 24.11.2014, in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
