The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions would submit that the petitioner would submit his reply to the impugned proceedings dated 19.07.2016. The learned senior counsel would pray that the respondent may be directed to consider the same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders.

2. Considering the limited prayer, the petitioner is permitted to submit his reply / representation. On receipt of such reply / representation, the respondent shall consider the same and pass orders on merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that all defenses that are available to the petitioner can be raised by him before the authority concerned. 2/4

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of on the above lines. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
